Once I have decided to try MP, I realized how boring and unfun the SP is in comparison. I started with only playing SP, just like you. You can't build all range armies or kill the whole army of the enemy with a few AoE spells when playing against a human. The AI always does the same and is completely predictable, while against an another player your old strategies will suddenly turn out to be completely ineffective. You will find it VERY difficult to enjoy SP after that, as the AI can't be compared to even a very newbie player. To all the people dissing MP: just try it out once IE is out. I myself played a couple of hundred MP games and I don't have ANY chance against any of these TOP 100. The biggest MP tournaments had around 100 contenders, all of whom are high skill players, i.e play TWW MP constantly and actually spend time and effort into becoming the best Total War Warhammer players. The main multiplayer discord server has 2k online players, I can't see the overall number of people in there, probably 10k or so. There are dozens of TWW MP YouTubers, some of whom stream in different languages for the respecting audiences (I know one who streams in Spanish, one in French, a few in Russian). He almost never plays SP, as he finds it incredibly boring. All of these 150k are interested in TWW multiplayer.

IE map is arguably an even bigger project, and there are still some issues unresolved with WH3 core game. Remember, after release of Wh3 it took CA half a year to release something new.
There will probably be a lot of bug fixing, patches addressing things that don't work and balancing. I doubt we will be seeing another dlc this year.
